Suicide : Not an Option

Blog Jun 26, 2020

Today I would like to talk about a thing which has been in our society for some time now.

  • Suicides!! indeed, you heard it right.why do individuals commit suicides?

For every person who commits suicide, reasons are different, because they are different persons and they have different personalities. But what we can say is that the main reason to do this is they find themselves in very hopeless, unbearable circumstances. According to them, there is no solution to their problems. it is endless.

  • Are these people Cowards?

No, I don’t think so, murdering yourself takes a ton of guts to do. Assume you are cleaving vegetables and by some coincidence, your finger got cut, you know the amount it hurts.you would shout out of torment. Envision getting a cut by chance gets you into intolerable agony. In what manner can even oneself hurt themselves intentionally?so I think doing such a demonstration requires guts.

  • Should it be the last option?

No, it should not even be an option. but easier said than done. People going through this stage of their lives are very fragile. They need legitimate clinical help and care. Going to a doctor for mental support or help is not wrong, so one should not hesitate. One should not think that people will consider them mentally ill. They are just going through a tough time that’s it.

  • what should be done?
  1. As a matter of first importance, think about your family. they are the most important and they are what matters so, family above all.
  2. Talk with your folks about it, what is it, for what reason?
  3. Seek medical help.
  4. And most importantly never consider suicide as an option.
  5. Divert your mind, do something productive.
  6. Calm yourself, by doing your favorite thing, like listening to music.

And for all the humans out there those who are having a perfect and have a great life. If you cant help these people don’t even make it any harder for them, by saying your problem is nothing, you overthink and all just simply recollect that they are in a sensitive position.

For example, if a 17-year-old boy is going through a breakup. He is depressed. If you can’t help him then don’t even say things like grow-up, look at your age, is it even a thing to worry about.

It is a thing for him to worry about. He is 17 and this is what he has seen in his life till now.

So if you are a grown-up hear him out, get him, put yourself into his perspective and offer him guidance. what a grown-up should give.
Be gentle with him. Tell him this time will pass and he will come out of this gloriously.
